One of the great things about Sani-Tred all purpose sealant products is that they can be applied by anyone (no need to be a professional to use them). Sani-Tred will waterproof just about anything . . . from a wicker basket to the hull of a boat!
Basic preparation is all that’s necessary for learning how to waterproof anything.
Make sure the original substrate is clean, dry and free of any previously applied products. Poured concrete floors can be acid etched and neutralized according to the instructions supplied with the materials.
If you are having a hard time removing previously applied paint or Drylok, we have a wonderful product called Off The Wall Coating Remover which is non-hazardous, non-toxic, water soluble and will not burn your skin. It works just like a paint stripper and can be brushed, rolled or even sprayed. Off The Wall Coating Remover emulsifies paint, breaks it down and should then be stripped using a pressure washer. Previous applied products can also be removed by shot blasting, sand blasting or by grinding.

PermaFlex is a type of polyurethane that is brushed, rolled or sprayed. PermaFlex cures to become as tough as a tire, remains permanently flexible and has 600% flexibility/elongation. PermaFlex comes in light tan, light grey, black and white. You can also paint over our products if y special color is desired.
LRB (Liquid Rubber Base) is used to patch any joint, crack, hole or rough area. LRB can be used two different ways. LRB can be applied at any thickness as a self-leveling fluid membrane or 2-parts LRB can be mixed with 1-part TAV (Thickening Activator) to create a thickened mixture similar in viscosity as silicone caulk. Less TAV can be used to create a runnier mixture. LRB/TAV mixture is used to seal wall/floor joints, cracks larger than hairline, holes, around penetrations whether horizontal, vertical or inverted.
Other Prep Products:
Tile Prep is applied to ceramic tiles surfaces to ensure permanent adhesion. We also have a 2-Part Epoxy Primer which is used for priming glass, acrylic, granite, marble and porcelain. Our 2-Part Epoxy Primer is non- hazardous, nontoxic, solvent-free and low VOC.
