Basement and Attic Repair

Your home has to deal with all kinds of water related issues and concerns. From the top to bottom, every home needs to be protected to keep unwanted water out. By waterproofing your home, you’re protecting your investment, your family, and your way of life by stopping an ever-present threat of water damage.

Water can enter your house from seemingly anywhere, but the two most common points of entry are at the top of your house through the roof and from the bottom through the basement. These two areas deal with the most water on a regular basis and a good homeowner will take the needed steps to keep their homes protected.

Attic Repair

Your attic is an extension of your roof. It can either be a space that protects the rest of your house or a damp, water-damaged space that can only make things worse. How you treat and maintain it will greatly affect this. The key to a waterproof attic starts with a well-maintained roof. By keeping your roof in top shape, you can eliminate many water related problems.

Once your roof is in good shape, you can further protect your home by waterproofing the inside of your attic. Attics are notorious for moisture and humidity problems in addition to leaks, so a quality waterproofing will protect your attic from these issues. Using SANI-TRED®, you can coat the inside of your attic to further waterproof your house. This ensures that any water that might get through your roof’s shingles or tiles won’t be able to make it all the way into your attic. This creates an additional barrier to keep water out.

Basement Repair

Basements deal with more water than any other part of your home. Basements being underground mean they constantly have water trying to get in. Negative Hydrostatic Pressure pushes against the foundation of a house and will flow through the concrete’s pores unless it is properly protected. Other methods attempt to block this pressure from the outside with rubber barriers or at least divert the encroaching water with pumps and drains. SANI-TRED® works by keeping water out altogether. SANI-TRED® penetrates deep into the concrete’s pores and hardens (while maintaining flexibility) to stop outside water pressure from getting into your basement.

By using SANI-TRED® waterproofing products, you can protect your entire home from top to bottom. To repair water leaks in your attic and your basement, use SANI-TRED® and keep your home waterproof for many years to come.

  1. Howdy:
I’m wondering if this product is what I need to replace/repair the transition at the interface of concrete driveway and garage entry. Also we have wide ranging temps here re: freeze/thaw movement expansion/contraction.
Problem: There is a room underneath the garage, water leaked through and down the seam and into the room. Obviously the drywall needed to be replaced etc.
I cut out a small chunk of the original material and it is a rubber compound of some sort.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks, Bill Howell- Bend, Oregon
